Sending your child to public school exceeds that of some private colleges

If you read the article from WSJ about the Governor race in NEW JERSEY they have stats about the property tax rates and the amount of money that goes to some “distressed” school districts.   It shows that they spend upwards of $35,000.00 per student and still get nothing  for their money.  ARE YOU KIDDING?!!!  $35,000.00 per student?  That is enough to pay the tuition at Yale University.   Give me a break.  You don’t think that Liberal corruption and Teacher unions aren’t bankrupting our school systems?

This is just another example of government run systems failing under no competition, forced subsides under property taxes and unions tanking an entire sector of our society.   They take our money and give it to state run schools that have no need to run efficiently, take responsibility or be held to any accountability.

This needs to end and is only one example of our failing government run systems in this county.  The government has no business running schools or taking our money for it.   School vouchers have been shown to work and improve peoples choices and hold schools accountable to the people.

by Brien

The “fringe” media is passing this guy around like a cheap whore.  Well that is all he is really.   The guy says and does anything he can to keep his 5 mins of fame going.  He’s pushing a book, trying to get an acting and modeling career going.  Yep that is right, according to his wikipedia page, he’s an “actor and model”.   LOL!  Well his acting is getting a lot of practice as he goes around spewing his crap.  The guy is supposedly doing a spread in Playgirl.  Wow what credibility and high morals this guy has.  Good job man.  With the all the news media still trying to crush Palin out of fear of her, you might be able to stretch out your “fame” another 5 mins.

Here is one of the recent interviews.

UK nut says we need to go vegan to save the planet

2009 October 28

We all need to go vegetarian to save the planet from certain doom.  Not only are they on CO2 but now Methane from meat production.

Direct emissions of methane from cows and pigs is a significant source of greenhouse gases. Methane is 23 times more powerful than carbon dioxide as a global warming gas.

Ok jackass.  Tell me what would happen if we all quit eating pigs and cows?  Would the methane quit being produced?  Well not unless we wiped out every cow and pig.   If we quit eating them, what would happen to the poor cows and pigs?  Would we just turn them loose into the wild?  Unless we exterminated every last cow and pig, wouldn’t they just reproduce and keep expelling methane?  I’m sure they are not for killing every last cow and pig.  The pig and cow population would just continue to rise then and the methane would keep being produced.

If this is the case then by eating the cows we are keeping the methane in check.   As far as the CO2 produced from meat production and feed production, who cares.  That CO2 argument is complete BS anyway.   The CO2 in the atmosphere is .1% of the total makeup.   The reductions they want to make account for a small part of .1 %.    All the stupid reductions for hybrid cars and all the pollution reduction would help cool the planet .0075 degrees.   WHOOPIE!  What does going vegetarian do for us?  Well probably less than that.

No thanks. I’ll keep my steaks.  Read the ARTICLE HERE form “LORD” Stern.  That name alone makes me wonder.

Cellphones, the new Constitutional right.

2009 October 26
by Brien

Thanks to Dana Loesch for bringing this to my attention.  Apparently it is now a “right” to own a cellphone.   This must fall under the “promote the general welfare” clause somehow.  Although I thought “promote” was different than “provide”.  I never was very good in english.   What happened to working hard to get somewhere in life?  Well, I may just quit work.  It seems to pay better to sit around the house.   Why work when you can have the best of everything to sit around and watch Oprah and Judge “whoever is on the bench now”.  Even Karl Marx would be flipping in his grave.  Who sponsored this new welfare program?

I can see it now.  Drug deals being set up on welfare phone program.  Wow thanks Uncle Sam.

You don’t want a Union? Too bad!

2009 October 25
by Brien

This is from SAY NO TO ACORN.  Earlier this month home care workers in Illinois voted down joining a union.  They were even under pressure of Union thug tactics due to our fine Governor passing an executive order 09-15 giving the state the right to pass along personal information to the unions.  This opened the door to who knows what kind of pressuring and assault on the workers trying to force them to vote yes.

It seems even though the workers voted down the union, Governor Quinn can still send state money straight to the Unions even though they workers turned down the offer.

Other states are forcing unions down the state workers throats.  Maryland is trying to force state workers into a Union.  Article is HERE.  This is nothing more than the politicians that are in the pocket of SEIU and other unions paying back for all the donations they have received.

The Health “Vapor” bill – Smoke and Mirrors

2009 October 24

All these months of debate and committee and all we get is an outline of a bill.  It has passed through committee and all we get is an outline?  They get an outline passed through the committees and then the back door writing of the bill gets done?  I don’t think so.  That is not how things are supposed to get done in this country.  Where is the TRANSPARENCY?  We were promised TRANSPARENCY.   Even the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) only had an outline to go by when figuring the costs.  How is that going to be accurate?  Not that any guess at the cost of a bill has ever been close, but this is ridiculous.

If the estimate of cost was $1 trillion for an outline of a plan with no specifics, what do you think the real cost would be when it was done and the sweetheart deals are added to buy the votes needed to pass it?  $10 trillion?  That is probably what we are looking at when this all gets done.   People, I urge you, follow the links to the right that link to you congressman and senators and tell them to vote no to any of this ridiculous bill.
